I just heard that Instagram passed 100,000,000 users. It’s no surprise one of the questions I hear most often is how to print these pint-sized images. This video will show the method I use most frequently: to print two images on a 4×6 base with my Canon Selphy.
Other Methods for Printing Instagrams
A year ago I shared another method for printing Instagram photos using Photoshop Elements. This is a great approach if you have a lot of images to print and don’t have Lightroom.
I also will sometimes print directly from my phone using the Canon app, and use PicFrame if I want multiple images per print. Liz Kartchner created a cute video showcasing how to use the Selphy for printing Instagrams using these apps. I prefer to print photos in larger batches, but this approach is super easy.
How to Get Instagrams Off the iPhone
After filming this tutorial, I realized that I have a really simple method to get my Instagram photos off of my phone (and into Lightroom). It’s one that is free for anyone with an Apple computer, but many don’t know about it: Image Capture.

Hey, another great way to get instagram photos printed is by using the printicular app! I am in the middle of doing a blog of what people do with their printed instagram photos and was wondering if you have any inspiration? as I am quite new to all this scrapbooking and being crafty.

In this video I am using Lightroom’s Print module to create an image collage. I then cut the images apart.
