It’s great to have a digiscrapping home on the web – a place to share scrapping and non-scrapping related successes, fears, tips and stories. Web forums for this purpose vary in their activity level and topics covered. To find your niche, its helpful to try them out. But who has the time?
First of all, we have some basic tips:
- Get involved where you like the galleries
- Don’t forget to check the forum rules for posting links, blinkies and ads
- Find your own comfort level with off-topic posts as well as the pace of posting
Simple Scrapper test drove several digital scrapbooking web forums to provide the best advice for YOU.

I bet you all have other favorites too! What is your digital scrapbooking home?
I hang at DST, mostly, because they seem to have the most active forums. So hi from the blog train!
Jan (Magpie)’s last blog post..Trying to Catch Up With My Life
I love DST for its activity. There is always something to read in their forums, at any given moment. But I also love Peppermint Creative, The ladies there a a lot of fun! I hit a couple other places from time to time, but so far those two are my favs.
ValeriGail’s last blog post..Sleep My Pretties, While I Scrap
My favorite is {we are} storytellers. I got involved with the site before I started selling there, and it was all because of their guiding philosophy: that scrapbooking is about telling stories. I’m a teacher and writer, so that obviously was the main draw when I got involved in the hobby. I think we are finally moving back to seeing more appreciation for words on layouts (for a long time, it was “see how many embellishments you can pile on a page”) and I’m excited about that shift.
aud neal’s last blog post..BOOK FAIR
My favorite is Digitals http://www.digitalscrapbookpages.com. They are very friendly and welcoming! I’ve been there for quite a while now!!
I also am a big fan of the Sweet Shoppe Designs forum, it’s like family there for me. I also read at DST, it is fast moving, but always interesting. 🙂
