It’s Turkey Day here in the United States and I’m in Texas celebrating with my parents. So I’ll say: Happy Thanksgiving Y’all!
Today is also the day you’ve been waiting for – the big announcement of Scrappers Give Thanks winners. Before we get to that, I have to give you the final tally: 662 cards! I continue to be impressed with your creativity and generosity.
This is what 662 cards looks like:
If my house had a glass roof, I’m pretty sure that lot would show up on the satellite view in Google Maps!
Ok ok, enough hemming and hawing. Here’s what you’ve come for… the winners! (There is a You Tube video embedded below.)
Congratulations everyone! I have email addresses for everyone except Jamie Archuleta and Raesha de Ruiter Zylker – and will follow up with your prizes this weekend.
Special Note on the Twitter Drawing
So you may have noticed that I did not draw the winner of the second Wacom Bamboo Craft from the #scrappersgivethanks participants. For this being the first go-round of a semi-large contest, I think it went pretty smoothly… so I hope you’ll forgive this one hiccup. Twitter does not allow me to search 30 days back for uses of #scrappersgivethanks. So here’s what we’ll do.
If you submitted a card and tweeted about the contest, please email me (starxlr8 at gmail) by Sunday evening. I’ll do a drawing using random.org on Monday for this second big prize!
that’s awesome Jennifer! Thanks for all your hard work in putting it together. I look forward to participating next year!
Jennifer, I’m so sorry my cards did not get there on time! I mailed them from Tampa on Nov 20th using 2 day priority and delivery confirmation. I just checked the tracking number and it looks like they are stuck in the Houston post office somewhere. I’ll email you directly with the tracking number.
Thanks for all your hard work!
Marcie
Well since I didn’t hear my name I’m guessing that mine haven’t arrived from MyPicTales either. Bummer since I submitted them to be printed on the 14th. Oh well. I’m sure they will be arriving soon 🙂
Just wanted to say you are awesome for putting that together! Thanks for your hard work and for giving us the opportunity to help our service men and women !
Thanks so much for putting this contest together. I had so much fun making the cards, and I’m sure the troops will appreciate them. Better yet, their family and loved ones will enjoy them. I look forward to making more cards!
