Fab Five for February 9, 2011

Scrapbooking Ideas

I so love browsing galleries and seeing all the amazing works of art created by the scrapbooking community! In this edition of Fab Five, I have five pages all using a single portrait-orientation photo on a layout with journaling. So many of the pages I found with a single portrait had NO journaling at all.

1. What Matters by pamelacy – The background detailing on this page is so beautiful!

2. Strike a Pose by Diane Payne – I love the title work and the very structured composition.

3. Tall Boy by PickleballChamp – The colors in this layout are so sweet and the photo placement totally works!

4. This Very Pose by ChristaLP – The design of this page is simply fantastic. Love the paper strips on the top right!

5. Oh baby! by Saracicle – All the little details are so wonderful, but still complement and not compete with the main image.

“Fab Five” is a series of occasional posts that highlights trends, themes or styles in scrapbooking with five outstanding pages.
