The ABCs of Simple Scrapbooking is a 26 week video series. In each episode, I’ll explore one fundamental idea of stress-free memory keeping.
P is for Pocket
Not everything in scrapbooking is all roses and unicorns. Sometimes you want to just get it done, tuck away something less attractive or hide more personal journaling. These are just some of the reasons I use pockets in my memory keeping.
In this video I’m sharing a variety of ways to simplify your own scrapbooking with pockets. While many of these ideas are for paper scrapbookers, I also share how and why digital scrapbookers can bring pockets onto their pages.

I would love to hear your voice in this conversation. Do you ever use pockets? I’d love to hear how you’re using pockets to keep your scrapbooking simple and fun.

Sharon, you can also purchase memory protectors, called Flip Flaps from Close To My Heart. If you don’t have a consultant in your area, please feel free to go to my website, ediemarks.myctmh.com and browse the on-line catalog on page 122.
Jennifer your ideas are terrific. Thanks so much for sharing.
I’ve always loved using pockets, but you’ve given some great new ideas! I love the coin pockets for Instagram photos! Oh perfect is that! And the big pocket at the end of the album is genius! That solves a huge memorabilia problem for me! Thanks!
Great video and tips Jennifer, this is my favorite one of the series so far!
Thanks Katie!
