This month the Simple Scrapper reader challenge is to create a layout using a 3×3 grid, based on the sketch shown below. We’ve even provided digital scrapbookers with a free download template (see challenge information). You can use the sketch template to create a “miscellany” layout – one in which you use the squares to tell your story with layers.
Tomorrow, we’ll be sharing layouts created by the Simple Scrapper Design Team and based on this month’s challenge!
It seems that this miscellany style has grown in popularity with the increased use of Instagram photos in scrapbooking. I took a virtual shopping trip for traditional and digital supplies that work with this style. Here’s a look at some of my favorites:
