I‘m loving the simplicity of 8.5×11 scrapbook pages these days. I’m having such fun with it that the Premium Members are getting a whole collection of letter-sized sketch templates in April!
Try your hand at 8.5×11 scrapping with this new free Simple Scrapper template. Click here to download this freebie from the shop.
Not sure how to use the layered template? This video tutorial explains how to get started with PSD files and digital scrapbooking.
Freebies 2.0 is a new series at Simple Scrapper. I’d love if you left a comment sharing what kind of downloads you most enjoy.
Thank you for the freebie! I have only been using templates in the last couple of months to blog monthly collages of fave pics. I am seriously thinking of digi scrapbooking since I’ve moved so many times in the last ten years. My scrapbooks are bulky and heavy.
You’re welcome Sherri. Digital techniques can be a very useful tool in any scrapbookers toolbox. Whether you ‘go digi’ or not, I think you’ll find my designs tend to reduce some of the bulk.
Jennifer, thanks for the 8.5×11 freebie template! I’m a grandma of 9 (oldest is 19 years, youngest is 17 months) and have only started scrapbooking since Jan 1 (combo Project Life/Library of Memories). This template will be perfect as an insert for my first album ever!
I downloaded the 8.5 x 11 freebie template but my Photoshop program will not open it. Please help.
The files are all zipped up. You’ll need an unzip program like the free Stuffit Expander if you don’t have one.
If you’ve unzipped it already, can you tell me what version of Photoshop or Photoshop Elements you’re using – as well as what error you’re getting?
Thank you so much for this and the tutorial as well. I know you “taught” me before but it’s one of those things that if you don’t use it, you lose it! I must get back into this!
