Oh my, the past 48 hours have been a complete blur. I was working, working, working getting ready for the launch party. Then I was twiddling my thumbs for three hours waiting for it to start. Then I talked for three hours non-stop while my family marveled from the other room at just how much I can talk. (Go introverts!)
After a much-too-short slumber, I spent today doing my best to enjoy NSD (roadtrip to a LSS!) while juggling customer service questions and approving affiliate commissions. I am tired but feeling so grateful for the excitement about my new book.
What all this means for YOU is that there is a brand new member of the Simple Scrapper family! Everyday Storyteller Vol. 2 contains 83 pages of practical scrapbooking goodness from a group of incredibly talented memory keepers. It is a book that is equally perfect for digital scrapbookers as it is for paper scrapbookers.
The coolest thing is that, like it’s predecessor Everyday Storyteller Vol. 1, it not only comes in eBook format (print-quality PDF) but also as a soft bound print book. A real life book!
I am so proud to be able to share this with you, as it represents such a collaborative effort over 5+ months. You can click here to check out the new book. Oh, and if you don’t yet have the first book, you can save $5 when you buy them as a bundle!
This has been a labor of love (understatement) and I so hope you not only find these books beautiful but truly useful. Since you’re here, I’d love if you left me a comment sharing what your last 48 hours have been like.
We hosted my cousin (though he is more like the brother I never had) and his wife at our house for the weekend. Since we only see each other a couple times a year, having the opportunity to catch up while enjoying lots of good food, going wine tasting, antiquing, etc. was the perfect way to spend 48 hours. We shared into the wee hours of the morning, laughed till we cried and reconnected as family. What a blessing!
So, I’ve had the first read of the new book (I need to come back and focus on 1 subject at a time to really get into practical things) and I absolutely love it! Aside from the useful tips (i.e. ShoeBox app), I’m loving the most the motivation it’s giving me. It reminds me why I love scrapbook, because it’s the perfect mix of my love for photography and graphics and my need to share emotions and stories.
My life is very unkind toward my overachiever nature right now. Too busy (not in a “good way”) and too tired isn’t the best environment for creative productivity. Reading the book it’s boosting my will, hope and ideas to keep going at my beloved hobby.
So glad to hear this Arianna! I created everything here at Simple Scrapper just for scrapbookers like you, so there’s lots more support for YOU right within these digital walls.
