Two weeks ago I officially announced my new workshop at Big Picture Classes and answered some common questions. Today I want to share a full suite of sneak peek images for Before Your Story.
Workshop Sneak Peeks
During class we’ll create an album that tells your birth to adulthood story. Mine is in 12×12, but 6×12 would also be a great size too. Paper and digital scrapbookers are equally welcomed!
The basic structure for the album relies on pockets to make it super easy, but there are still plenty of opportunities to share your personality and add creative touches. Plus, I’ll share tons of variations to customize the project to your needs (including pocket-free approaches).
You’ll see me grow up through the images in my album, but don’t worry if you only have some photos from your younger years. We’ll discuss a range of ideas for making the project work for you, including journaling-focused approaches.
During class, you’ll discover (if you didn’t already know!) that I love structure and order in my projects. You’ll receive many worksheets that help you keep everything organized and even create printable index pages for your photos.
Above all, I will help you simplify the process every step of the way so that you can tell this important story without frustration and totally enjoy the process. From photos to journaling, you’ll go behind-the-scenes as I create an entire album from start to finish.
I’ll even help you apply my favorite approach for combining layouts and pocket pages in an album to longer stories. You’ll discover how easy it is to scrapbook multiple decades in just one album.
And of course, there will be layouts! While this isn’t a layout-focused album, we’ll be using them to honor some of your most treasured growing up stories. Doilies are optional.
I am so proud of this project and workshop. I hope you’ll join me this February 27 for Before Your Story.
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about this project. I can hardly wait a month!!!
Me too Carla!
