Our trailer video for The Art + Science of Scrapbooking includes quite a few sneak peeks, but I wanted to quickly share a favorite here on the blog. This page includes two photos and hidden journaling.
This layout was completed for one of the right-brain challenges. I’ve always loved how Stacy Julian helps scrapbookers find connections between photos, but this one was extra cool. It was a (very!) difficult challenge, but the page came together quickly.
I loved how this challenge and the 7 others from Stacy helped stretch my creative boundaries. Much to my own surprise, I discovered new techniques I enjoyed (like painted backgrounds) and strengths I didn’t ever know I had.
As someone who prefers to stay inside of her own doily-filled box, putting on a right-brained hat helped me find a new perspective and influenced my process. If you’re eager to make some pages and grow in the process, this is the class for you.
