As part of our Simple Tip Saturday series this year, I’m inviting fresh voices into the mix. Today we’re hearing from Simple Scrapper team member Melanie Ritchie with her simple tip.
What is one way you simplify scrapbooking?
I keep my most used embellishments and tools out in the open so I don’t have to go searching for them. I always put them in their proper spot during clean up.
What problem does it solve for you?
It saves time from having to search for things. When I only have a few minutes to craft, I can dive right into my project.
Why do you think it works so well?
I think feeling organized and knowing I’m always prepared gives me a sense of control over a hobby that can be overwhelming. Being prepared minimizes stress.
How can others get started with it?
Figure out what your most used tools and supplies are. Designate a space for them that is easy to access and in your line of sight. Always gives yourself a couple minutes at the end of crafting to tidy up and put those items in their proper place.
Simple Tip Saturdays are for sharing easy ideas to grab and run.
